My stay at Het Vlielandhotel was a pleasant mix of simplicity and comfort. The hotel's location, just a minute's walk from the ferry, is convenient for exploring the charming village. The garden, bordering the dike with views of the Waddenzee, provided a serene retreat. The common area downstairs, with its complimentary tea and coffee, added a homely feel to the hotel. Despite missing some luxury amenities like a flat-screen TV or plush garden furniture, the value for the price paid was evident.
